The Archai Institute for AI Analysis is structured to ensure independence, methodological rigor, and public trust.

Governing Board

The Governing Board provides fiduciary oversight, strategic guidance, and institutional stewardship. Board members do not participate in research findings, methodology, or editorial decisions.

The Governing Board is composed primarily of philanthropic supporters and individuals with experience in nonprofit governance, public accountability, and institutional leadership.

Advisory Board

The Advisory Board provides non-governing, non-fiduciary guidance on research design, methodology, and domain expertise. Advisory Board members may include current or former researchers from AI labs, independent scholars, and subject-matter experts.

Advisory Board Members:

  • Do not approve or veto findings

  • Do not control publication

  • Do not represent their employers or institutions

  • Participation does not imply endorsement of findings.

Research Independence

Archai Institute maintains a strict separation between funding, governance, and research output. Funders and board members do not influence research conclusions, benchmarks, or editorial judgments.

All contributors are required to disclose relevant conflicts of interest.
